On a vibrant Sunday in April 2025, The Alchemist Kitchen & Bar in Bugolobi transformed a rainy morning into an afternoon of sophistication and delight with the first edition of Drunch by Ciroc. Despite the downpour, Kampala’s foodies and social enthusiasts gathered at our beloved venue on 31A Bandali Rise for an unforgettable experience that set a new standard for daytime gatherings.
The event kicked off with a warm gesture: the first 50 ladies received stunning flower bouquets courtesy of Nineteen Twenty One Lifestyle, Kampala’s bespoke floral design service. This thoughtful touch set the tone for an afternoon filled with elegance, indulgence, and good vibes. Deejay Jo’s laid-back beats provided the perfect backdrop, allowing guests to relax and savor the moment.
Our specially curated DRUNCH menu was the star of the show, offering a mouth-watering array of dishes to satisfy every palate. Favorites included the DRUNCH BREAKFAST CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CREPES, a delightful combination of chicken breast, scrambled egg, creamy mushrooms, avocado, homemade fries, and coleslaw salads. The 256 MINI COMBO wowed with tender pork chops, crispy salt and pepper wings, savory sausages, potato wedges, salsa verde, and crunchy onion rings. Seafood lovers raved about the BAYSIDE TILAPIA HARSH, featuring pan-fried tilapia fillet on a bed of sautéed potatoes, peas, spinach, bacon, and cream. Each dish was crafted with the freshest local ingredients, showcasing The Alchemist’s commitment to culinary excellence.
Paired with Ciroc’s signature cocktails, the Drunch experience was elevated to new heights. Guests mingled, laughed, and danced, creating memories that lingered long after the event. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with our team’s warm hospitality, made the day truly special.
